Ruka Hand – Open-Source Robotic Hand by NYU
Ruka Hand is an open-source robotic hand project developed by researchers at New York University (NYU).
It aims to advance research in dexterous manipulation and embodied intelligence, enabling affordable experimentation and replication through 3D printing and accessible components.
WowRobo has faithfully reproduced this design for educational and research use, providing high-quality assembled and DIY kit versions to make the project more accessible worldwide.
To lower the cost barrier for users, we replaced the three DYNAMIXEL XM430-W350-R motors in the original BOM with three DYNAMIXEL XL430-W250-T servos, which have been fully tested and adapted for compatibility.
